COMMUNITY CHURCH KILLINGWORTH - Newcastle upon Tyne

Welcome to Community Church Killingworth. We are a local Christian church that has been part of the Killingworth landscape for the last 26 years. We meet on Sundays in Bailey Green Primary School at 10:30 and in homes and various other Killingworth locations mid week. ALPHA What is the point of life? Why do people suffer? What happens when you die? Is forgiveness possible? These and many more questions are asked and answered on our Alpha course. The meetings are informal and relaxed, beginning with some food, followed by a brief talk and discussion time. People will have the opportunity to share questions, express their opinions and share their ideas without being criticised or corrected. Our most recent Alpha Course finished in January and we're hoping to run another early in the Summer. For more information click here.

SPRING CLEAN We had a fantastic day out and about taking part in North Tyneside Council's 'Big Spring Clean' initiative when it visited Killingworth on April 18th. Lots of our members were able to help pick up an incredible quantity of litter at both the main site on the lake shore and a child friendly venue along Green Lane. Some of our older members were on hand providing much needed refreshments during the day, all adding to the family feeling of the activity. Doubtless there will be other opportunities like this in the future so watch this space for details.
