We are a diverse bunch of people with different backgrounds, abilities, ages, marrieds, families, singles and children. Anyone can be part of the church. Jesus said the greatest commandment is to ’love the Lord your God’ and the second most important to ‘love your neighbour as yourself’. This is our expectation of one another.

Our love for God is expressed in the way we worship Him, both individually, when we meet together as Church, but also in the way we try to live lives that please God. We can best discover this by getting to know Him through the Bible, talking to Him in prayer and learning from each other.

Our love for our neighbour includes our family, friends, work colleagues etc. in fact anyone we come into daily contact with. It doesn’t mean living in each others’ pockets but simply being available for one another and being involved in trying to make a difference for good and for God in this world of ours.

Although we are ordinary people who will and do make mistakes, we aim to be good news to the people of Killingworth and beyond, by living lives that please God and reflect something of His love for you and for this community in what we say and do.

Our passion is to reach out to those who don’t know Jesus; to restore those who are hurting and in need of help; to help people discover what God made them to be and to do and help them do it; to love God and worship him in all that we do.
